Colon Support

The maintenance and support phase of the program utilizes the Evercleanse Colon Health Formula.  The Evercleanse Colon Health formula will provide ongoing support for a healthy gastrointestinal tract.  The combination of ingredients in this formula will encourage the growth of “friendly” bacteria, and provide immune support to the cells of the intestinal tract.  You’ve heard the old saying “you are what you eat”.  This statement isn’t entirely true. “You are what you absorb”!.  Something isn’t “inside” the body until it’s actually absorbed through the small intestine and then into the bloodstream.  In combination with the other products in the program, the Evercleanse Colon Health Formula will help keep the cells that line the intestinal tract healthy.  When the cells of the intestinal tract are healthy they absorb essential nutrients and help with the removal of toxins.

The result: A healthy gastrointestinal tract will help ensure the absorption of nutrients required for all of the physiological and biochemical processes in the body, leading to improved energy and vitality, regularity, and overall health.

Details on ingredients and studies

On a daily basis the intestinal tract is exposed to toxic chemicals from foods and byproducts of nutrient metabolism.  Evercleanse Colon Health Formula provides the cells of the intestine with the protection they need to stay healthy and to prevent the damage that may occur from these potent toxins.

  • Studies show that flaxseed provides a source of fiber and lignans, both of which provide an environment for healthy detoxification of xenobiotics (foreign chemicals) within the intestine (1).
  • NutraFlora® brand fructooligosaccharides provides a source of nutrients for the growth of beneficial bacteria, many of which help enhance detoxification and nutrient digestion and absorption, as well as the production of short-chain fatty acids; fats which provide a major source of energy for and help maintain the health of colon cells (2).
  • Colon support also provides support for gastrointestinal immunity.  A large portion of our immune system resides in our gut, and is referred to as gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT).  As you might imagine with all of the toxins that pass through your GI tract on a daily basis, optimal functioning of this part of your immune system is essential to overall health
  • Milk protein extract provided as MicroLactin®, along with colostrum and larch  arabinogalactan all provide immune support for healthy intestinal function (3-5). (milk protein should not effect individuals with lactose intolerance)
  • Indole-3-carbinol (I3C) is a compound found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts.  Several studies demonstrate the ability of I3C to help support normal, healthy cell function. (6).
